The long awaited, much requested sequel to Rob Zombie's most acclaimed film The Devil's Rejects, 3 From Hell.. well.. it came out? Really didn't have the impact that The Devil's Rejects (blog) did. There are reasons for that, though a lot (blog post) of those reasons couldn't be helped. Nevertheless exactly horror movie how did the movie hold up on it's own merits?

After the Hellraiser series left theaters, never to return.. Inferno would come out some years later, straight to video. However, it's hard to say what inspired this movie, as it feels nothing like a Hellraiser film. Instead, it's kind of a psychological horror murder mystery, and in fact, could easily work without Pinhead or any reference (blog post) to Hellraiser at all. Probably because that's how it was originally written... they just slapped Pinhead in there and viola! 5th film! Oh dear...
